Talia Nimmer

Talia Nimmer obtained her Juris Doctor from Tulane University School of Law. While in law school, Talia was a student attorney for the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic where she argued a case challenging the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources’ permit approval for the Bayou Bridge Pipeline construction and operation.

Talia was a Judicial Extern at the California Court of Appeal for the Honorable Laurie Zelon and a Legal Fellow at the Environmental Defense Center, conducting legal and policy writing on the Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act (“Proposition 47”), California Endangered Species Act, and California Environmental Quality Act.

Prior to joining the Mitchell M. Tsai law firm, Talia worked as an Associate Attorney at Yeroushalmi & Associates and Angel Law where she worked on all stages of environmental litigation. At Angel Law, she served as a trial attorney in a Brown Act case challenging the City of Malibu’s failure to make required public disclosures on discussions surrounding the Malibu Parks Public Access Enhancement Plan.

In her free time, Nimmer enjoys hiking with her dog and skiing.
