Lea Aguilera

Paralegal

Lea is a paralegal at the firm working on environmental law, land use, and administrative law issues. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in immigration law with various government agencies, focusing on nonimmigrant petitions, policy, and government oversight and accountability. She has also held multiple internships with various District Attorney’s Offices in the Southern California area, including the Orange County District Attorney’s Consumer and Environmental Protection Unit.

Lea graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a major in Philosophy and graduated from Whittier Law School where she was involved with the Environmental Law Society, Trial Advocacy Honors Board, and Public Interest Law Foundation and received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in California Environmental Law.

In her free time, Lea loves spending time with her husband and family watching theater performances, musicals, going to theme parks, eating delicious food, Pilates, hiking, camping, painting, crocheting, going to the movies, gardening, and watching television on the couch curled up next to her husband and their adorable pitbull rescue Azula.
