Jason A. Cohen is a litigation associate at Mitchell M. Tsai, Attorney at Law, where he advocates for clients and their environmental, land use, and real estate concerns. He handles these matters in state, federal, and appellate courts, as well as local administrative bodies and governments. Mr. Cohen received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School, where he was Vice President of the Environmental Law Society. He was also a part of the Urban Economic Development Clinic in Brooklyn Law School’s distinguished clinic program, and interned with state and federal judges and other public organizations while in law school. It was through these experiences he developed a passion for protecting the public and the environment. He continues to marshall his past experience to help marry the interests of grassroots movements with those of local communities in an effort to create a sustainable future.
Mr. Cohen also has prior law firm experience in business, real estate, contract, employment, personal injury, premises liability, and title insurance matters. He graduated cum laude from The University of Arizona with a bachelor of arts in philosophy and psychology. Outside of the profession, he spends his free time with family and friends, reading, rooting for the Dodgers, Lakers, Rams, and Kings, and participating in all manner of sports and outdoor activities. He is admitted to practice in California and New York.
