The Mitchell M. Tsai Law Firm represented the National Audubon Society, Golden Gate Audubon Society, Mount Diablo Audubon Society, Ohlone Audubon Society, and Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society (collectively “Audubon”) in settling litigation challenging the approval of a new wind turbine facility in California’s Altamont Pass.
The settlement will significantly reduce avian mortality, improve the role of wildlife agencies in reviewing proposed wind projects in the Altamont Pass while facilitating new clean energy development.
