AIDS Healthcare Foundation Offers to Buy Sunset Gordon Complex to Provide 1,000 Affordable Housing Units

Our firm is representing Coalition to Preserve LA in an action challenging the Sunset Gordon complex. The City of Los Angeles recently reapproved land use entitlements for the 22-story Sunset Boulevard complex, which has been sitting vacant after a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge retroactively invalidated the project’s construction permits after finding that the developer had unlawfully demolished the historical facade for the original Old Spaghetti Factory restaurant in the course of constructing the Sunset Gordon complex.

Aids Healthcare Foundation is offering to buy the Sunset Gordon complex to provide affordable housing. More information can be found here, here and here.
