Greg Sonstein is an associate attorney with Mitchell M. Tsai, Attorney at Law, and focuses his practice in environmental and land use litigation, specializing in cases representing public interest clients involving enforcement of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Greg joined the firm in January 2020 and was previously an attorney at a nationally-renowned personal injury trial law firm in Los Angeles.
A graduate of Southwestern Law School, Greg received his bachelor’s degree with honors from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, with a degree in Philosophy. During his time as an undergraduate in Atlanta, he worked in state politics and served as the Chief of Staff for a local state senator. Upon graduation, Greg entered into graduate studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he received a master’s degree in Israel Studies.
Greg is a member of the State Bar of California and an active member of the Environmental Law Section of the California Lawyers Association. In his spare time, Greg enjoys hiking, cycling, running, and spending time with his family.
