Our Firm participated in the 43rd annual Public Interested Environmental Law Conference (PIELC) in Eugene, Oregon. Associate Attorney and Special Projects Coordinator Grace Holbrook and Assistant Office Manager/Paralegal Christine Maralit represented the firm at the conference.
The conference’s theme this year is “RIsing to the Challenge: Justice on the Horizon.”
Some of the panels this year were “FOIA: Don’t Be Afraid of the F Word”, “Take under ESA Section 9 and How to Prove It”, and “The Toll of Urban Freeways on Vulnerable Communities.”
The panels were intriguing and invigorating, inspiring to continue the fight of bettering the environment.
